The Bruins Unveiled their new practice arena on Thursday and it looks awesome.
The Bruins will no longer be practicing norht of the city and will be be back in Boston Where thay Belong. The arena is located at the Boston Landing development in the Brighton/Allston neighborhood next to the New Balance Headquarters, and will be getting a MBTA stop in 2017.
Warrior Hockey owns the rights to the name, and includes a 68-foot, 7,000 poiund Warrior hockey stick outside.
“The excitement right now, it’s going around, and I think the energy we have with the guys coming back into town and getting into this facility, it’s going to do wonders for us,” defenseman Torey Krug during a Media Open House no Thursday, where local reporters were able to get a first look at the rink.
The facility will be open for a community day on Saturday September 10.
The facility includes a strength and conditioning area, training room with cold and hot tubs, a locker room with the Spoked-Bon the ceiling, and a video room and players lounge.
