Boston Celtics Trade Rumors: Chicago Bulls Reportedly Not Making Jimmy Butler Available

Just days after reports that the Chicago Bulls would be shopping Jimmy Butler the report now is that they are not doing so. This really doesn’t mean much as the tweet below highlights. If the Boston Celtics include a Net’s pick mountains can move.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN confirmed that is indeed the Bulls stance. :

The teams that talked to the Chicago Bulls today were told, “Just about everybody on our roster is available, but Jimmy Butler is not.”

Another report that came up today from David Aldridge that said the Boston Celtics are getting held up on Jae Crowder in any deal for Jimmy Butler.

Aldridge also mentioned Ainge thinks having a defensive setup of Avery Bradley, Marcus Smart, and Jae Crowder and an offensive setup of Isaiah Thomas, Butler, and Al Horford would be a squad to compete with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

To me, Ainge is on the right track here, but I would part with Jae if it protects this years Net’s pick.
