Boston Red Sox Baseball Is Back, But Without David Ortiz

With the Boston Red Sox starting spring training it’s time to put those shovels away and grab a ice cold beer kick back and relax and watch the greatest team in the league play the wonderful game of baseball.

But it’s honestly not gonna be the same without David Ortiz, it’s gonna be hard on all of us Boston Red Sox fans not to see the big man on the field, I said this way before be he announced his retirement, and I’m glad the Boston Red Sox will be retiring his jersey.

David Ortiz is going join some of the greatest players to ever play the wonderful game of baseball  for the Red Sox:

#1 Bobby Doerr

#4 Joe Cronin

#6 Johnny Pesky

#8 Carl Yastrzemski

#9 Ted Williams

#14 Jim Rice

#27 Carlton Fisk

#45 Pedro Martinez

#21 Roger Clemens

#33 Jason Varitek

#49 Tim Wakefield

#26 Wade Boggs

David Ortiz is going to be missed not just by us Red Sox fan, but around the league David Ortizs retirement is a end of an era and we many never see another player like Ortiz.
