Draymond Green Tells Paul Pierce He Doesn’t Get A Retirement Tour, Pierce Then Roasted Green
Every NBA fan knows that Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is a fierce competitor who can sometimes cross over the line. On Thursday Green for some reason decided to go after former Boston Celtics forward and current member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Pierce, who will retire at the end of the season, was not in the game at the time, but Green called to him from the court, telling him nobody would give him a farewell tour.
“Chasing that farewell tour. They don’t love you like that,” Green said. “You can’t get that farewell tour. They don’t love you like that.”
Green then said something else that was tough to hear through the broadcast before adding, “You thought you was Kobe?”

After the game, Pierce responded on Twitter attacking Green in a way you cannot help but respect.

Pierce deserves a farewell tour, issue is not with the Clippers. If he was in Boston you would see a Kobe like walkoff, that being said The Truth deserves some respect from around the NBA. Kind of wish Doc Rivers sent Pierce in to go one on one with Green, but at his age and court time that would probably end badly for Paul.
